Cooling Cycle

Depending on the applications to which the material of thermoelectric module is used, 6 different cooling methods are available.See below for each constructions.

Air-cooled Plate Cooling Type (Type FP)/Water-cooled Plate Cooling Type (Type LP)

The cooling plate which absorbed heat by function of the thermoelectric modules cools object through a heat transfer material by direct contact.The absorptioin heat and the carolies from the thermoelectric module will be dissipated from the reverse side of the thermoelectric module by air cooling or water cooling through the heat transfer material like aluminium. ※1

Air-cooled Agitating type (Type FF)/Water-cooled Agitating type (Type LF)

The air inside an enclosure enters into the BOXCOOL by the fan motor on cooling side to be cooled and dehumidified by passing through the cooling fin which is cooled by the thermoelecric module and then returns to the enclosure interior.The absorptioin heat and the carolies from the thermoelectric module will be dissipated from the reverse side of the thermoelectric module by air cooling or water cooling through the heat transfer material like aluminium. ※1

Air-cooled Fluidic Cooling type (Type FL)/Water-cooled Fluidic Cooling Type (Type LL)

The fluid entered through the cooling jacket (IN) is cooled by passing through the cooling jacket, which is cooled by the thermoelectric module and the liquid contact part and then goes out from the OUT port. The absorptioin heat and the carolies from the thermoelectric module will be dissipated from the reverse side of the thermoelectric module by air cooling or water cooling through the heat transfer material like aluminium. ※1

1. With Air-cooled types, the heat absorbed through the radiation fin will be dissipated from the fan on radiation side.
   With Water-cooled types, the absorbed heat will be transfered by circulating water in the heat radiation jacket.
